I am delighted to welcome you to our latest makeITsecure campaign. In recent times we have seen new technologies and trends emerge which have affected the way people use the internet. The proliferation of smartphones and increasing interest in social media are just two examples of this. The adoption of these new technologies has numerous benefits, but at the same time we need to inform ourselves of the new risks to our personal safety and security that they may introduce.
It is the intention of the makeITsecure initiative to provide a focal point and guide to users on the importance of the safe use of the internet.
