At the recent BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition held during January 2010, in the RDS in Dublin, Mr. Ben Chapman was presented with an award by Minister Eamon Ryan T.D., Minister for Communications Energy and Natural Resources.

Seventeen year old Ben is a pupil of Scoil Mhuire Community School, Clane, Co. Kildare, and his interests at present lie in computing and web programming. He also finds time to delve into photography and journalism.

Ben intends to study Computer Science and after that, to start up his own web development company.
